Visiting Instructors

Short-term residencies and exchanges with regional and international movement leaders.
  • People in Motion

The Movement regularly hosts visiting instructors from the region and beyond — bringing diverse perspectives, methodologies, and experiences into the ecosystem.

These instructors are not “guest appearances.” They are collaborators, educators, and contributors who align with our approach to movement, education, and long-term wellbeing.

  • A Platform for Exchange

Visiting instructors join The Movement through curated residencies, workshops, and short-term programming designed to encourage exchange rather than performance.

    This allows instructors to:

    • share their methodology with new communities
    • collaborate with local talent
    • explore new formats or ideas
    • contribute to the collective knowledge of the ecosystem

Each residency is intentionally structured to add value — both to the instructor and to the community.

  • Supporting Local Talent

Visiting instructors are integrated into the ecosystem — not placed above it.

Their presence is designed to complement, not replace, local movement specialists. Through shared classes, workshops, and conversations, visiting instructors contribute to the growth and development of the local movement community.

  • Who We Work With

We collaborate with instructors across anti-inflammatory and longevity-focused disciplines, including:

    • Pilates and mat-based strength
    • Yoga and flow practices
    • Barre and sculpt-based formats
    • Functional and corrective movement
    • Mobility, stability, and recovery practices
    • Education-led and methodology-driven systems

All visiting instructors are selected based on alignment of values, experience, and approach — not follower count or trend cycles.
